Vision

Our vision is to become a fully competent Coast Guard by implementing capable personnel in terms of protecting and maintaining both sea and air bodies from internal waters and territorial seas to exclusive economic zone for safety, security and all other aspects of maritime area.

Mission

• To protect and preserve the rule of law and jurisdiction sovereignty along Myanmar’s coastline and maritime zones.

• To protect and preserve the blue economy, national maritime interests and marine environment.

• To carry out safety and security within Myanmar’s maritime zones with the aspects of protection and humanitarian assistance.

• To promote international cooperation with domestic and foreign maritime organizations, coast guards and maritime law enforcement agencies.
• To assist the Myanmar Navy in times of national emergency.
