On April 26, 2025, around 60 nautical miles southwest of Pyapon Township in Ayeyarwady Region, the Coast Guard’s swift patrol cutter intercepted 618 kilograms of ICE hidden in 31 plastic bags at sea.

In the evening of April 27, four additional members of the AA terrorist group, who were involved in drug trafficking, were apprehended based on the statements of the arrested suspects. The Myanmar Navy subsequently confiscated an additional 4,093 kilograms of ICE and 3,000 kilograms of ketamin, as detailed in the official report.
