On the afternoon of July 28, 2025, a goodwill delegation led by Vice Admiral Suwat Donsakul, Commander of the Royal Thai Navy’s 3rd Naval Area Command, arrived at the Coast Guard Headquarters as part of a goodwill visit to Myanmar. The delegation was received by Commodore Tet Lwin Tun, the Commandant of the Myanmar Coast Guard.
During the meeting, Commodore Tet Lwin Tun and Vice Admiral Suwat Donsakul discussed bilateral maritime cooperation issues. They also held an open and frank discussion on matters related to improving the forces’ capabilities and the conditions of maritime operations. The meeting was attended by five senior officers from the Royal Thai Navy, including the Naval Attache to Myanmar, and four senior officers from the Myanmar Coast Guard, including the Superintendent of the Coast Guard.
